International Conference “100 years of Chromatography”

Organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences and opened by the Mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov, the symposium mainly focused on methodology achievements and the applications of bioseparation methods in different fields of biomedical and chemical research and practice.

There were 450 participants, including 170 scientists from 44 countries. The programme was made up of  30 plenary lectures, 40 oral presentations and six subsidiary sessions. An accompanying scientific exhibition, with 30 exhibitors, displayed equipment, materials and scientific literature.

The symposium was supported by the Moscow City Government, the Russian Foundation of Basic Researches, UNESCO and IUPAC. Papers are printed as a Report and are to be also published in International scientific journals.
